Research

I am a second year PhD student in Ecology studying the endangered Lahontan Cutthroat Trout (LCT) (Oncorhynchus clarkii henshawi). I will be working on developing a high throughput, sensitive genetic assay to 1) assess genetic diversity of LCT populations to their respective bodies of water, range wide and 2) assess hybridization among LCT and non-native trout in the population to inform conservation management decisions in real time.
