The GVL partnered with U.S. Fish and Wildlife to help manage the threatened Pauite Cutthroat trout population at Silver King Creek located in Carson-Iceberg Wilderness, California. GVL scientists Dr. Mandi Finger and Grace Auringer traveled to Silver King Creek this summer to collect genetic data from the Paiute Cutthroat Population and aid in the restoration of the population to its historical habitat.
